Can anybody recomend a reliable removal company

Can anybody recomend a reliable removal company, and what sort of cost would it be from England to Spain?

There are a couple i know, firstly Euromovers and secondly Abbotts removals, both very good and if you need contact numbers let me know, if you live in the Baza region you can find their contact details in The Sierras.

The cost of the removal will be subject to where abouts are you in the UK and where you will be going in Spain.
also how many cubics mtrs you have?.

get a few quotes, but a word of warning if you can get a company out to do a estimate, and they give you a cubic meterage and cost dont go quoting the given meteage by the first company as they will have over compensated the amount knowing you will be quoting the meterage figue to other companies.

eg they estmate 30 cubices and 95 per cubic, knowing that theres only 24 cubic, but you be phoning arround getting other quotes for 30 cubes.!!

The times weve turned up and packed 26 cubes plus and squeezed it all safely in a 22 cubic van

we had a lovely couple on the other forum who had had a few quotes and was arround 38 cubes, we sent down 2 vans and we got the whole contents!!( minus patio set and a b/q) in one van!!! although they paid the cost of the 2nd van being their, we advised them it be cheaper to buy a b/q and patio set once in spain, the 2nd van was outside the next job 4 days early
The other thing is as your moving to Spain make sure you ask for a return load price, as there are plenty of folks moving back to UK

Make sure they have transit insurance, and get references

And one other thing

if you are moving to a village or place at the end or a dirt track, make sure their veichle can get to your new home, if not they will charge you extra to arrange porte/r courier service.

this is where their larger lorry is parked outside the village etc and they contact firms where smaller vans are used to transport items to your new home due to access.

Many times weve done this for the big blue chips
